China's BeiDou Antenna Standards Take Effect, Led by Harxon

The satellite positioning antenna industry in China reached a landmark this month as two national standards for BeiDou antennas—GB/T 46368-2025 (Survey-grade Antennas) and GB/T 46458-2025 (Navigation-grade Antennas)—officially took effect. Led by Harxon (Huaxin Antenna), a leading provider of high-precision GNSS antennas, the standards establish unified performance requirements and test methodologies for electrical specifications, environmental durability, and physical characteristics.

This standardization is critical as global adoption of multi-constellation, multi-frequency GNSS systems accelerates. The new benchmarks ensure consistency across manufacturing, improve interoperability, and raise quality for applications in surveying, autonomous driving, precision agriculture, and IoT.
